Every new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. Your card is charged nothing during the trial, and you have the full 7 days to try the product and decide whether it's right for you. You can cancel anytime before the trial ends from your Account page's "Manage billing" link, and you will never be charged. Because of this, we expect the trial, not a refund after the fact, to be how you decide whether to keep the subscription.
Once your trial ends and you're charged, that charge is final. Subscribing gives you full access to the dashboard for that billing period, and by the time a charge happens, you've already had a full week to use the product and cancel if it wasn't for you.
If you're charged and genuinely didn't mean to subscribe, or you clearly meant to cancel during the trial and something went wrong, contact us promptly at billing@firstalarmfinancial.com and explain what happened. We review these individually and may issue a refund at our discretion. This isn't a standing right to a refund on request; it's meant to cover real mistakes, not a change of mind after using the product for a full billing period.
Canceling your subscription stops future renewals but doesn't by itself refund anything already charged.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank, it can take a few business days to appear on your statement.
If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first. We can usually resolve billing issues faster than a bank dispute, and a dispute can delay your access to the dashboard while it's investigated.
